Florence Aino is a fan-made character and never appears officially in the Sailor Moon anime or manga. He was created for roleplay purposes and this page is a fictional biography that recounts many of his adventures during his sessions with various roleplay encounters in IMVU and other places.

How does he/she dress? Florence prefers wearing a variations of jackets and shirts. He wears his own merchandise with the 'FloNation' logo on it.

Bio: He moved to England from Japan with the rest of his family and learned English through Minako's friend, Katarina. He had taken several martial classes and played in many sports (namely basketball) while also studying law to Katarina's suggestion. He, with her help, was able became a cadet in Interpol. He was a big fan of Sailor V despite her being somewhat of a vigilante (And unknowingly to him, his sister) and had to clean up much of the sites that involved her fights with the enemy and any collateral damage caused by them. When hearing of Sailor V's death (Which timed perfectly with Minako's disappearance), he figured out the two were one and the same which caused him even more grief, losing both his hero and sister at roughly the same time. This made Florence's life even harder due to his overbearing mother pressuring him to succeed now where Minako had failed and not be a waste like their father (Nothing was wrong from their father, he was just generally average). After some internal debating, Florence eventually took the secret identity of Warrior V (A tribute to Sailor V) in order to battle the criminals that were slipping through Interpol's fingers due to the heightened restrictions placed on vigilantes since Sailor V's "death". He continued this, taking on additional classes to graduate High School early but as the restrictions on vigilantism grew over the last couple of years, his disgust with Interpol having "one hand tied behind their backs" caused him to leave both the organization and vigilantism. He decides to return home to his roots, using up all his unused vacation time to transition his move from England to Japan. It wasn't long before he learned about the Sailor Senshi team and he immediately connected Sailor V and Sailor Venus' similarities. With a chance to find his sister and reconnect with her, Florence found himself looking for a job so he can maintain his livelihood in Japan. He eventually joins the wrestling circuit under the alias the masked 'Warrior V' before going by his real name after losing a mask vs mask match. Using his skills from Interpol to study Sailor Venus, he finally confronts her. He discovers that Minako was still indeed alive and was indeed Sailor Venus and joins her and the group after a tearful reunion. As Warrior V/Prince Venus, he speaks with great pride of the planet Venus, with the royal family being considered the most beautiful and handsome in all of the Solar System as well as Venus' strength, experience, and leadership having a huge gap over all the other Sailor Senshi. While at first, Florence was very serious and focused with his goal and getting the job done, he began to regain his memories of the past and the real traits of his blood lineage in terms of style and flair began to show. He does begin to have somewhat of an ego and incredibly high opinion of those from Venus and their 'natural superiority' over the other kingdoms. Despite all of that, he considers the male group his brothers and capable warriors (though not necessarily at his level) and like his sister, is a bit excitable when he's around them. His loyalty is tested several times during his time there, being forced to pick between sides more than once but ultimately declaring the conflict was stupid, they were family and you never go against family. He is later sent into exile like the rest of the group.

Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof? Florence is ruled by a combination of both. In battle, he's ruled by logic, in friendship, emotion. In life, both are confusing.

What would most embarrass this character? Nothing really. He'd find a way to spin it to make himself look good.

Emotional Characteristics

How does the character deal with anger? Florence is a quite storm of fury. He usually holds it in and releases it when necessary. His crime fighting is what gives him the release he needs.

With sadness? Like his sister, Florence will never reveal his sadness and often tucks it away. He was never able to grieve properly for his sister when he thought she was dead and always seems to push the sadness deeper and further down.

With conflict? Depending on the kind of conflict, Florence will almost always meet it head on.

With change? After all the changes that happened in England, Florence has learned to adapt quite well.

With loss? Florence has trouble coping with loss. Because he is usually alone, close companions are rare and losing them becomes incredibly painful and difficult for him to deal with. Coping with death or losing a friend to either betrayal or them severing ties is something he struggles with, though very quietly and privately.

Devices/Weapons

V-Saber: An item that Florence acquired at a young age but doesn't remember how. When not transformed, this is a hilt without a blade which is useless and devoid of any power in the hands of anyone else. However, when wielded by Florence, he can activate the saber's power with trigger words and transform both himself and the saber. The hilt changes into a full blown saber imbued with the light of Venus and becomes effortless to swing.

Powers

Crescent Beam Variations: Florence is able to replicate Sailor Venus' many variations of the Crescent Beam. He can also channel them through his sword and increases its power. Enchanting his sword with Crescent Beam allows him to use his Crescent Beam Saber, a potent enough energy weapon that can cut through enemies and limbs (cauterizing the wound).

Crescent Beam Prism: Florence forms a prism gem before releasing it into sky and firing a crescent beam into it, causing a rapid spray of crescent beams to rain destruction down on the enemy.

Crescent Beam Chain: Used primarily to bind or trap the enemy for interrogation or to set up a devastating finishing move. Can also be used to retrieve his saber. Should the target begin to break out of the chain, Florence can strengthen the potency of the chain at the expense of more energy.

Spiral Heat Surge: Florence conjures a sphere of light energy that gradually grows while rotating in his hand. When growing large energy, Florence can launch the attack by throwing or slamming it directly into his target's chest, causing the spiraling energy to grind harder, the friction of the heat in addition to the powerful energy burning through.

Victory Terror: Florence's Ultimate Attack. Florence leaps high into the sky before unleashing the power of the light of Venus and sends a countless number of energy swords at the target(s). He then finishes the attack by conjuring driving his super charged saber into the target before causing a large eruption and leaving behind a huge crater still sizzling with light energy.

Beginning Storyline:

The charismatic Prince of Venus, Florence Aino.

His banishment by the Sailor Senshi has not stopped his meteoric rise in popularity in his civilian life as a stunt double turned action star.

But his true calling of a hero and vigilante of justice urge him to confront his banishment and challenge the new enemy...

To be a true hero, he must protect the world and adoring his fans he dubs the "FloNation."

"Hey, long time no see, sis! And what do you mean pretending to be a hero? Is that like when you were parading around being Sailor V?"

Sailor Venus:

"Don't compare that to this! You know this isn't the set of one of your movies, don't you know?!"

Florence Aino:

"Nice try, sis but I know when you're trying to distract me! Something big is going down and the Sailor Senshi are involved!"

Sailor Venus:

"Wait, what? I didn't say the Sailor Senshi were working on anything at all!"

Florence Aino:

"Ah ha! So you Sailor Senshi are up to something!"

Sailor Venus:

"ACK! What? No! I don't know what you're talking about! Grr... well, I guess I'll have to take you down before you get too carried away then!"

[after the battle]

Sailor Venus:

"I forgot those crazy moves of yours aren't just for show..."

Florence Aino:

"You okay, sis? You know I only want to help! What's got you and the others so wound up?"

Sailor Venus:

"I... guess I can tell you, nii-san... there was an attack in the city...

Florence Aino:

"Whoa! Is anyone hurt?!"

Sailor Venus:

"It was mostly property damage... The guy fled the scene and left a warning that he would make Sailor Senshi pay."

Florence Aino:

"Not the first time we've dealt with bad press. Anything else?"

Sailor Venus:

"Before the incident, Mars had a premonition. She received visions both of the red haired boy and the Dark Kingdom... we believe that there's a strong possibility that he may be trying to reform it."

Florence Aino:

"No way! We can't let that happen! The world would be destroyed! I'll find him and stop the Dark Kingdom from reviving!"

Destined Battle: Sailor Jupiter

Florence Aino:

"The FloNation is hereeee!"

Sailor Jupiter:

"Florence-kun?! What are you doing here? You were exiled. You... you shouldn't be here... You need to leave, now!"

Florence Aino:

"Ahh, Jupiter-chan. I'm touched that worry about me! Were you that scared that I would get killed? Or did you think this Dark Kingdom business was a Sailor Senshi exclusive?"

Sailor Jupiter:

"...! Venus and her big mouth... I'm sorry but... you don't know the Dark Kingdom like we do! Please try to understand..."

Florence Aino:

"Well, I don't blame you for not telling me, but it's time for you to stand aside and let me handle this."

Sailor Jupiter:

"What? No! Please don't do this... I know we joke around a lot, but this time, I'm really not kidding!"

Florence Aino:

"Nor am I, Jupiter. But don't worry... we'll settle this like we always have. Winner moves on!"

[after the battle]

Sailor Jupiter:

"N-no... Florence... please... don't go..."

Florence Aino:

"Whew... you weren't kidding about not wanting me to go... I had to pull out all the stops there and I still barely managed to win. It's okay, though, Jupiter. You and the others have sacrificed enough. Let me handle it this time. After all, what kind of champion would I be if I were to perish here and let the bad guys win?"

Final Boss: Sethos Beryl

Sethos Beryl:

"You... an arrogant brainless gnat who makes false claims of greatness... You, the servant of this planet's uglier, less popular sibling. You, who tries to keep himself relevant by pretending to be men you aren't while seeking admiration from the opposite gender for it. You, who believes he's a legend in his own mind with his cheap merchandise and tired gimmick. You, pretending your fanbase of maybe three people spans millions across the globe and giving your fanbase a ridiculous name which is better used for a female's menstrual cycle at their most uncomfortable time of the month... You, a pathetic brother who can never live up to the expectations, sense of justice, and greatness of his sister by outright copying her vigilante campaign and failing miserably at it. You, the prince of Venus with no true accomplishments to your name who lives off his sister's greatness, have the guts to come here and oppose ME?

Florence Aino:

"Man, you really put a lot of your effort to insult just about everything about me, didn't you? You know, you actually revealed your strategy to me when decided to dig deep into my past and give me this twisted history lesson. You see, I'm not ashamed of any of those things you see. I'm proud that I came from the fabulous and beautiful blood of Venus' royalty! And me looking up to my sister's bravery as a vigilante? It's what got me started on this path to begin with! I appreciate everything I am and what I've become! I'm proud of my fans, I'm proud of everything I learned from my stunt double days! The reason you went through all this effort to insult me was to demoralize me and make me an easy target! Because you're afraid of me and what I'm capable of! Well, young man, your plan has failed! The Prince of Venus will stop you from bringing back your vile kingdom of murderers!

Sethos Beryl:

"Silence! You brainless fool! Do you really think an arrogant slob like you could frighten me, the true prince of the very planet you stand on?! I will show you true terror as I rip your body apart and offer your remains to my resurrected brethren! Prepare yourself, Prince of Venus! I'm going to cripple you and make you experience a million deaths in an instance!"

[after the battle]

Ending: Your Life

[Florence stands over a beaten Seth]

Florence Aino:

"Whew! You're easily one of the greatest challenges I've ever had to fight! But I believe it's time to wrap things up!"

[Seth gets to his knees as he glares at Florence]

Sethos Beryl:

"No! I can't be defeated yet... it's not time... they're not revived yet...!"

Florence Aino:

"You mean the Dark Kingdom? Geez, you're still trying to bring those guys back? Why? Didn't you say you were the Prince of Earth? Why would you want to bring that mess here and ruin what you got?"

Sethos Beryl:

"You could... never understand! You're too soaked up in your victory over me to understand anything. I'm... I'm just another notch in your belt, stepping stone on your path to fame and immortality..."

[Florence lowers his head for a long moment before shaking his head and looking back at Sethos]

Florence Aino:

"No. I'm a hero first and foremost and a hero is meant to help people before anything else. Explain to me your story. Tell me why you were doing this. Why you seek to revive an enemy that would destroy the planet you claim as yours."

[As Sethos begins to talk, Sailor Jupiter arrives and watches from behind a pillar]

Sethos Beryl:

"My mother... my mother is Queen Beryl. She was betrayed by my father..."

Florence Aino:

"Your father?"

Sethos Beryl:

"...Prince Endymion."

Florence Aino:

"What...?!"

Sethos Beryl:

"Now you see? My broken hearted mother was taken in by the Dark Kingdom. I somehow inherited her memories and they had awoken within me. You and those Sailor Senshi... you took everything from me... this planet... my home... and murdered my mother."

Sailor Jupiter:

"No! That's not true!"

Florence Aino:

"Jupiter-chan?!"

[Sailor Jupiter runs over to the fallen Seth and stands beside Florence]

Sailor Jupiter:

"I'm... I'm sorry that you had to go through all of this, Seth, but I was there from the beginning..."

Sethos Beryl:

"Wh-what do you mean?"

Florence Aino:

"You were...?"

Sailor Jupiter:

"Your mother, Sorceress Beryl, truly was in love with Prince Endymion... but he chose to be with Princess Serenity. With all of the hatred and jealousy filling her heart, Beryl was easily swayed and fell under the influence of the Dark Kingdom. She then managed to corrupt the four generals of the Earth to stand by her side, and... in the end..."

Florence Aino:

"It was Beryl who betrayed the Earth."

Sethos Beryl:

"N-No! That can't be! How... how could I exist if he didn't betray her?!"

Sailor Jupiter:

"...w... wait a sec..."

Florence Aino:

"...? Jupiter?"

Sailor Jupiter:

"You're still so young, Seth... there's really only one explanation to the timing of your birth that makes sense..."

Sethos Beryl:

"Wh-What?"

Sailor Jupiter:

"You had to have been conceived during the period of time where Beryl had brainwashed Endymion... after the Silver Crystal had reformed from the Rainbow Crystals."

Florence Aino:

"...! That means..."

Sethos Beryl:

"I... Impossible..."

Sailor Jupiter:

"...I'm so sorry, Seth..."

[Seth turns his head away, tears in his eyes before he quietly speaks up]

Sethos Beryl:

"Finish me off, Florence."

Florence Aino:

"What?!"

Sethos Beryl:

"There's no point in me continuing... my life is a lie... everything was a lie... my whole existence... shouldn't even be here..."

Sailor Jupiter:

"No, Seth! That isn't the answer!"

[Florence pulls Jupiter aside as he walks closer to Seth and kneels down]

Florence Aino:

"You know, I felt the same way you did when I found out my sister was Sailor V and she never told me. That the girl I had been admiring doing vigilante work for Interpol and my sister were one and the same. I felt lost and sad for a long time. But I also realized something. Something I'm sure you knew about once. Before any of that happened, before Sailor V existed, there was life before it. And after a while, there was life after it too. Sethos, before you became the embodiment of the Dark Kingdom and Queen Beryl's vengeance, you were something else, weren't you?"

[Seth's eyes open as he experiences flashbacks of his time with the animals and being taught how to talk with and act around people]

Sethos Beryl:

"Y-yes... I had a family... and friends..."

Florence Aino:

"It's not too late, Sethos. You can go back. Everything that happened here... it wasn't your fault. It was the taint of a vengeful woman trying to use you as a tool and not as a son. It's your choice. It's your life. Live it."

[Seth looks up to Florence before nodding]

Sethos Beryl:

"Thank you, Florence. You really are... the champion of the world. Just let me rest and think for a while. I won't be a bother to you anymore. You and Jupiter should go back and tell your friends... they have nothing to worry about now."

Florence Aino:

"If you ever need anything, Sethos..."

Sethos Beryl:

"Thanks for your offer, Florence, but I can handle myself from here."

[Florence nods as he walks with Jupiter and they leave the area.]

[The scene cuts to Florence sitting in a park bench having coffee and a pastry while Makoto Kino's sits nearby as the other Sailor Senshin in their civilian identities chat among themselves]

Makoto Kino:

"It's nice to have you back from your banishment, Florence."

Florence Aino:

"Thanks. I can't stay long but I wouldn't miss one of your pastries for the world!"

Makoto Kino:

"While I'm grateful that you enjoy my sweets, you should hurry so you don't miss your audition!"

Florence Aino:

"Ha! I'll nail it for sure! I got the FloNation at my back!"

[A red haired boy comes in wearing a FloNation shirt]

Makoto Kino:

"Oh look, Florence, you have a-- oh my!"

Florence Aino:

"What's wrong, Mako? Whoa..."

Sethos Beryl:

"Florence, I hope you get the part!

[The three laugh as the scene fades to black]
