Sexual Orientation: Bi since becoming a vampire. She leans more heavily towards men because of her succubus half, but she will definitely nibble the ladies as well.

Current status: Seeing Kael Starfall.

Birth date: March 23

Birth place: A small village close to a river in Japan, south of Kyoto.

Current residence:The Kingdom of Dawnstar, at the Rising Tide Inn and Tavern.

Occupation: Demon/vampire hunter, bar/tavern owner.

Title/Rank: Formerly a vampire queen, currently co-captain of the Dawn Guard.

Hobbies/Pastimes: Enjoys walks beneath the sakura blossums, laying and looking at the starry night sky, seeing children playing happily (since her own childhood was torn apart). She once enjoyed making bento boxes for Kael (to try and get him eating something other than bread), but since she can't remember him properly currently, she only remembers liking bentos.

Talents/Skills/Powers: Her speed and strength are abnormally high, due to what she is. Can see heat signatures of the creatures around her, and sense demonic presences from a distance. Her eyesight and hearing are supernaturally sharp. Has the abillity to use the power of magical suggestion to seduce men, both because of her vampiric nature, and her succubus side. Makes a mean bowl of miso soup, and her bentos are to die for. Isn't currently aware of all of her power due to her amnesia, or has not yet discovered them.

Hometown: Grew up for a time where she was born, moved to Kyoto after her birth family was slaughtered.

First Memory: Sitting outside under the sakura trees when she was tiny, at one of the spring festivals, with her birth family.

Most important childhood event that still affects him/her: Losing her birth family and her adoptive family to vicious demon attacks.

Why/How? These events contributed entirely to her becoming the demon hunter she was once was, and has returned to being.

Past failures s/he would be embarrassed to have people know about and why: She can't quite remember enough to be embarrassed by anything at the moment, but she's bothered by the giant gap in her memories, and the nightmares she's afraid might not be just dreams anymore.

Biggest role model: A fellow demon hunter, Richard Hellwind.

Why? He trained her in the art of demon hunting when she began her travels west, teaching her to be a deadly force to be reckoned with.

Ears: Slightly pointed due to her vampirism and succubus blood, she keeps them hidden beneath her hair or her hood.

Eyes:Once were a lovely lavender, now are crimson red.

Expressions: Usually keeps a fairly straight face, though she smiles fairly easily.

Describe their smile: Mostly warm and reassuring, though other times seductive enough to make a man do just about anything for her.

Tattoos/Scars? None. Any scars she had disappeared when she was first turned.

Glasses/Contacts? None.

Left/Right handed? Ambidextrous.

Distinguishing features: Long, dark pink hair and unaturally red eyes.

Who does s/he take after; mother or father? Hard to say, considering they were killed when she was young.

How does s/he dress or what do they typically wear? Black leather and cloth that let her move around freely and quickly (though it might not look like it does), high boots, and a black hooded cloak.

Weapons: A large black crossbow on her back (looks like it might be too large to fire for someone her size, but strength is no problem for her), three katanas (two at her sides, one across her back), a smaller crossbow up each sleave, assorted other smaller weapons hidden in her cloak and clothes.

Health: Physically perfect, aside from the whole being a vampire/demon thing. Mentally, she's dealing with the sudden resurgeance of memories concerning her families and demons, as well as the gap in her life that somehow led her to being what she is. The nightmares aren't helping her either.

Physical Qualities: Definitely looks smaller than what she's capable of. While she was always quicker than she was strong, her current forms have made her a very dangerous foe to underestimate judging her on her physical shape alone.

Characteristics

Are they generally balanced or clumsy? Balanced

Mannerisms/Poses/Movement: Kasumi was always fairly graceful in her movements, and attempts to be polite to people. Nowdays she moves with an almost unearthly grace and quietness, unless she remembers to try and make herself purposefully act more human.

Do they curse, and if so, to what extent? Sometimes, usually in frustration, or to punctuate something she's passionate about.

write a piece of dialogue that this character might say (can be between someone else): "Damnit, Kael, no wonder you don't look well. All you ever bloody eat is bread!"

Voice: Pleasant to the ear, she speaks with a touch of an accent. Hard to identify, she traveled through too many areas, and adopted a lot of their accents when speaking english.

Describe their laugh: Chuckles a lot, but when she laughs, she laughs hard and loud, right from her center.

Describe their sleep patterns (light/heavy sleeper, no sleep, sleeps too often, etc): No longer has much need of sleep, she takes time to rest and meditate when she requires it, but will make a point of 'going to sleep' when around mortals to keep them from feeling uneasy, or discovering what she is. Hasn't been resting well lately because of the nightmares plaguing her.

Intelligence Level: Fairly high, can read and write in a number of languages, and speak a few of them fluently.

Character's long-term goals/desires in life: Kasumi hopes to get a chance to speak to the man she only knows as Kael, wondering why she sees him in her dreams and nightmares, to hopefully find out why he's there, how she knows him, and more about herself. Past that, she has little long term aspirations at the moment.

Character's short-term goals/desires in life: To hunt down and destroy the rest of the clan of demons that were associated with Kazama, the demon who destroyed her adoptive family.

Secret desires: To figure out what the longing in her dreams and her heart is.

How self-confident is the character? Very confident, aside from her memory gaps. She becomes a little more unsure when confronted with things that might have taken place in that time.

How do they see him/herself? Since her memories about her families and demons have resurfaced, she sees herself as an avenger of those fallen, and a protector of those who cannot defend themselves from the unnatural forces around them.

How do they believe s/he is perceived by others? She's not entirely sure what she is, but she figures that most people would see her as something frightning if she didn't do her best to try and act more human-ish.

What is the character most proud of? Her ability to obliterate demons even better than she remembers being able to with her new skills and abilities.

What does the character like least about themselves? Her inability to remember things, the night terrors that come to her when she tries to rest or meditate.

How do they express themselves? She tends to be quiet and observant, but will speak her mind without hesitation if she feels the need to do so.

Is this character generally dominant or submissive? Dominant.

Patience level: Depends. Low tolerance for stupid, and people/creatures hurting innocents.

Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof? A combination. She follows her heart more than anything most of the time, though, but still uses her logic to keep her from doing things that might be too foolish.

Most at ease when: Sitting under a sakura tree, sitting by a hearth with a bowl of miso soup.

Least at ease when: Around malevolent demons, or right after waking from a nightmare.

Describe their sense of humor: Sometimes finds things funny when they shouldn't be, humor has always kept her going, and keeps things less tense around other people, for the most part. She enjoys a good laugh, and seems content when others do, too.

If granted one wish, what would it be? To end the suffering of innocents by those stronger than them, whether they be human or supernatural in nature.

Why? Remembering her lost childhood and her families, and those who had been around her, she wishes that she could prevent such a fate from befalling anyone else.

Character/Personality/Mental/Social Strengths: Very stubborn and determined once she sets her mind to something.

Character/Personality/Mental/Social Flaws: Her stubborness and determination have also been used against her, so can be seen as flaws as well.

Biggest Vulnerability (non physical): If something reminds her of her nightmares, she hesitates. Her dreams of the demons and her childhood turned out to be memories, so the rest of her dreams make her very wary when reminded of them.

Optimist or Pessimist: Optimist.

Greatest Fear: That her nightmares turn out to be reality.

Other Fears/Insecurities/Phobias: Not getting to accomplish her current goal, losing track of Kael and not getting to speak with him again. She doesn't fear much at the moment, really.

Emotional/psychological/social peculiarities: Gets particularly protective of children, like a mother would, even if she's never had her own.

Biggest regret: So far, not getting a chance to speak to Kael when she had the chance, but circumstances didn't allow it at the time.

Other regrets: Doesn't remember enough to have much in the way of regrets.

Biggest accomplishment: To current memory, saving various people and towns from demons or other creatures.

Minor accomplishments: Finding Kael, but doesn't count it yet really, since she's lost track of him again.

Character's darkest/deepest secret: Kasumi was once the vampire queen, Sabre, of the vampire lord Milliardo, and caused a lot of pain and misery to others, including the one she loved more than anything in the world, Kael Starfall. She has no memory of this, but the nightmares of her memories haunt her constantly without her knowing for sure if they are memories or not.

Minor Secrets: She likes being dominated in the bedroom, but only if she's into the person doing it.

Likes/Dislikes

Likes: Good food and drink, sakura trees, sweet breezes, starry nights, sitting by the fire, walking in the woods.

Dislikes: Evil creatures and people in general, anyone that would hurt an innocent person to get their way.

Greater Pleasures: The sensations that her heightened senses bring to her, including watching the heat rise in her lover's body, and the feeling of drinking from someone she cares about (as opposed to just feeding to eat from a bandit or something).

Where does this character like to hang out? Either under sakura trees (or just trees in general if they're low-hanging), or in taverns/inns watching people enjoy themselves. It helps her remember who she's fighting for.

Where is this character's dream place to live? A quiet Japanese style house by a river, surrounded by sakura trees.

Motto/Personal quote: It's always darkest before the dawn.

Mode of transportation: Foot, horseback, or flying (with her own wings).

Most prized possessions: Used to be a cross necklace she wore, now an amethyst ring.

Why? The necklace was her mothers, but was lost during one of her episodes under Milliardo's sway. The ring she wears always because it was a gift from Kael, and it reminds her of him even if they're far apart.
